Address Checker

About

Address Checker verifies whether a wallet address (ERC-20/EVM or TRC-20/TRON) appears on the issuer blacklists for USDT or USDC.

Use it before sending funds, during audits, or to add a lightweight compliance step to your workflow to reduce the risk of interacting with malicious addresses.

What we check
  • USDT (ERC-20) — issuer blacklist
  • USDC (ERC-20) — issuer blacklist
  • USDT (TRC-20) — issuer blacklist

Key Features

  • Detects addresses present on the USDT/USDC issuer blacklists
  • Supports EVM/ERC20 and TRON/TRC20 address formats
  • Fast, no wallet connection required
  • Lists are refreshed periodically to reflect the latest status
  • Privacy-first: no address storage beyond the lookup

How to Use

1. Open Address Checker.

You’ll see a simple form:

Address checker form

2. Fill the Form.

ERC-20 addresses start with 0x (EVM), TRC-20 addresses start with T (TRON, base58 format).

3. Click "Check".

The tool compares the address against supported issuer blacklists and shows one of two states:

  • Check the address against both USDT and USDC ban lists.

  • Output if the address is found in any tracked ban lists.

Example output:

Clean (not found):

Clean address result

Or:

Blacklisted (found):

Banned address result

Click Reset to run another check.

Results Explained

FieldMeaning
Address is blacklistedYes → address is on at least one supported blacklist; No → no suspicious activity evidence found at the time of check
Important limitations
  • "Clean address" means no suspicious activity evidence found at the time of check. This does not guarantee that it is safe or compliant.
  • Blacklists are issuer-controlled and chain/contract specific. An address blocked for USDT on TRON may not be blocked for USDT on another chain (and vice versa).
  • Data can be delayed by third-party sources. Always verify the address before sending.

Security & Privacy

  • No wallet connection or signing needed.

  • Lookups are processed via a secure API; we don’t persist the input address beyond the check.

  • Data sources: issuer-published blacklists and on-chain events.

  • Update cadence: once a week.

FAQ

What is an issuer blacklist?
USDT/USDC contracts can freeze or block assets at the issuer’s discretion (e.g., fraud, sanctions, abuse). Address Checker shows whether an address is currently on such lists for the supported assets.

Does “Clean address” mean risk-free?
No guarantee. It only means the address isn’t on the specific blacklists we check. Always use additional checks as needed.

Which chains are supported?
Any ERC-20 (EVM) address and TRC-20 (TRON) address. Actual assets checked are listed above.
